If your pet experiences a medical emergency, phone us ASAP on 01698442689 so that we can ensure the team are prepared for your pets arrival.
Emergencies can look like:
Toxin ingestion (chocolate, onion, grapes, rat poison, etc.)
Collapse/seizure
Road traffic accident
Wounds/fractures
Difficulty breathing
Male cat straining to urinate
Difficulty during labour
Out of hours care
As a small team of 2 vets and 3 nurses, we are currently not in a position to staff our own out of hours services as well as our long days.
To ensure you and your pets receive the best care in an emergency out of hours situation, we have teamed up with the lovely team at Emergency Vets Glasgow.
Just like us, Emergency Vets Glasgow are an independent and fairly-priced service, ensuring your pets health & wellbeing are our top priority.
We trust their experienced & professional team to care for your pet when we are closed. Once we re-open, our vets with communicate with each other to ensure all of the treatment information is passed over in a timely and accurate manner.
As part of your membership with our practice, we want to make sure that we look after you even when we are closed!
We have also partnered with VidiVet, to give all clients unlimited 24/7 support via their easy-to-use app. This service is completely FREE to use, and can advise whether your pet should attend EVG, or can wait until the morning.
