Surgical Treatment
Our practice provides a wide range of surgical treatment and procedures in-house.
Spay/neuter of domestic pets
Wound stitch-ups
Mass/lump removals
C-sections (non-elective)
Dental surgery, e.g. extractions
Gastrointestinal surgery, e.g. foreign body removal
Bladder stone removal
We also have x-ray and ultrasound facilities (including dental x-ray), so that we can diagnose a range of conditions in-house.
Surgical Referrals
Sometimes, our team will out-source specialist colleagues for complex or niche surgical procedures.
Examples of cases we may refer include:
Orthopaedic surgeries (Cruciate repair, total hip replacement, etc.)
BOAS surgery (brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)
Oncology (complex/high-risk tumour removals)
We recognise that it is often best for your pet to see a colleague with additional qualifications, skills and interest in these specialist areas to ensure they receive the best care possible.
We always liaise closely with the referring vet, to ensure we are up-to-date on your pets treatment throughout the entirety of the referral.
Inpatient Facilities
We have separate dog, cat & small mammal kennel facilities in order to reduce stress for our inpatients.
Our revolutionary new feline housing features a fine-celled foam board that is impervious to moisture. The gentle design provides ample room for cats to relax and lower their stress levels.
We use plug-ins, hide-aways and play classical music to further calm pets during their stay with us. Our vets and RVNs are dedicated to ensuring your pet is well-cared for.
