Meet Rhona! She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1994, and has lived in Larkhall since 2002.
With over 30 years experience as a veterinary surgeon, Rhona wants to bring her knowledge to help clients make evidence based decisions that are best for them and their pet. She enjoys working with and supporting clients in giving the best care for their pets.
Outside of work, you will often see Rhona walking her dogs. Her 2 children are now close to finishing school, and so the taxi service is in full flow!

Meet Aoife! She is a 2023 graduate from the University of Glasgow, and has been working in mixed practice in South Lanarkshire since graduating.
Aoife grew up on a sheep farm in Northern Ireland, and has found her second home here in Scotland. As a vet, she particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery, neonatal care, and getting to know her patients & their families. She has a close relationship with the SSPCA, and is known for fostering all kinds of baby animals!
Outside of work, Aoife enjoys sharing cocktails with friends, wild water swimming, and exploring all the beauty Scotland has to offer. At home, she has a rescue Ragdoll called Heidi, who keeps her on her toes.
Nurses

Meet Morven! She is a registered veterinary nurse who qualified in May 2019 and has been working in the veterinary industry for around 10 years.
Morven has an extra qualification in anaesthesia and due to her previous job in a mixed practice, she is well on her way to passing her equine nursing qualification.
In her spare time Morven likes to go out for cocktails with her friends, horse riding and going hill climbing with her dog Myah.

Meet Laura! Laura is a registered veterinary nurse and qualified from SRUC in October 2019.
In her nursing role she especially enjoys anaesthesia and nursing of small furries/exotics.
Outside of work Laura enjoys horse riding, running and socialising with her friends.

Meet Abi! Abigail is a student veterinary nurse in her final year. She worked as a receptionist and as a veterinary care assistant and passed her Level 2 Diploma Veterinary Care Assistant course in 2022. She has been in the industry for 8 years now.
She really enjoys getting to know patients and giving them TLC after their surgery, and also has a keen interest in anaesthesia.
In her spare time she enjoys meeting up with her friends, goes for her weekly park run, and loves a good nap! At home she has her cat Ivy, which she rescued when she was handed in to her previous employer, and has loved taking care of her since.
